Let me share my story on how Atty. Jerry Shapiro handled my case. I hired him to handle my immigration filing/adjustment of status on December 12 2021. He immediately prepared the paperwork and told me to have my medical exam and give him the result ASAP which i complied. On December 21, 2021, he mai...led the paperworks to the USCIS and was received on the 24th. On February 7, 2022 i received my biometric appointment and my work authorization card came the following week. Then my SSN card and the appointment letter of our interview came after couple of days. Working with Jerry was a great experience. He was professional throughout the entire process. My wife had come from Brazil and we were looking for a lawyer to help us through the immigration process. We had a longer than expected process due to Covid, but Jerry was able to keep us updated and informe...d throughout the process. One of his best qualities was his response time to questions. If I were to email him with a question, he would have a response for me within hours and sometimes minutes. I could not appreciate that more when the process had been stalled due to Covid. He was also very organized and gave us a list of documents to have for filing our paperwork with USCIS, as well as a checklist of documents to bring with us to our interview with the USCIS agent. These lists, which were probably made from years of experience, were important because they went above and beyond the list on USCIS letter. This made things simple for us instead of trying to decipher the ambiguous guidelines that USCIS had laid out. Due to the help Jerry provided, we were able to obtain a green card for my wife with very little stress and question marks, even during a pandemic.
