Biography

Since 1979, the Law Offices of David M. Kramer has developed a specialized practice dedicated to the area of immigration, nationality and consular law. The firm has over three decades of experience with employment-based immigration and temporary work visas, as well as family-based immigration.

Mr. Kramer was among one of the first lawyers to be approved by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a Certified Specialist in Immigration Law. He is also an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Immigration Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Since 1995, Martindale-Hubbell, one of the foremost sources of information about members of the legal community, has awarded Mr. Kramer an AV rating. The AV rating is Martindale-Hubbell's highest possible rating, reflecting the highest standards in legal expertise and professional ethics and conduct.

Excellent and Clear Immigration Service

David assisted me in applying for the NIW process. He has well developed resources and a clearly laid out process to guide the applicant through the multi-step process. He provided ready advice and clarifications along the way. His communication was clear and straightforward. David took care of t...he actual filing of the paperwork and kept me informed of where we were and what implications or concerns I should watch out for along the way. He also watchfully and proactively contacted me to rush the application through before a deadline which was unexpectedly announced by USCIS. David's post-application support and response to incidental questions is gracious and thorough.

The best work of David Kramer, Proud client

i was 21 and almost aged out to qualify as a dependent on my families immigration status. i had to fulfill 2 years home residency out of the US but with the help of David Kramer, i got a waiver of the home residency. within 3 weeks of the application my waiver was expedited so i could still be eligi...ble as a dependent. within a week after the notice, my whole family got an interview thanks to David with his expertise. and my waiver was approved a day before the interview. in the real situation, it takes 4 months to be approved but with the help and hard work of David Kramer, mine took a month. right now my family and i have our visas and i came back to the US and i have my permanent residency thanks to David who updated me step by step during the process. with his good work, i can finally pursue my degree in pharmacy. he is the best immigration lawyer there is.

Outstanding service

We have obtained our American citizenship in 2012, but the handling of Mr. David Kramer and his office staff of our Green-Card started as early as 1998. As research scientists unfamiliar with the world of immigration and immigrations laws, but quite familiar with performances of other lawyers in our ...field of expertise, we wish to highlight the outstanding professional law services provided by Mr. Kramer for both our Green-Card and Naturalization applications during this lengthy period. Mr. Kramer patiently answered our endless email questions, always on due time and in most of the cases almost immediately, never complained about our apparent ignorance of regulations, and guided us calmly throughout these stressful processes for every non-American trying to make it. He filled and filed properly all the related documents as requested by the immigration services and even advised us what additional documents we need to prepare in case of “difficulties” during the lengthy process, a situation that fortunately, had never happened to us. All of these were provided at the fixed reasonable prices agreed beforehand. The prices quoted before each service Mr. Kramer provided had never changed nor increased regardless of the time that was involved. We are confident that without the careful guiding hand of Mr. Kramer taking care of every detail, we could have encounter difficulties with our various applications. For eliminating these potential pitfalls we are especially very grateful. We recommend the services of his office to scientists who are interested in honest and professional handling of their immigration issues without any reservation.

A very professional, honest, caring and truthful man!

Mr. Kramer has handled all my cases for over seven years. From the very beginning he informed me in a very truthful way about my options and the challenges my case had. I have hired Mr. Kramer and his staff for 4 immigration cases: My H1B visa renewal, Labor Certification, Audit of my Labor Certif...ication, and my husband's H1B visa, and I have to say that he has worked hard to provide the best results possible in all of the cases under very difficult and testing circumstances. Many times I faced the fear of the unknown, facing difficulties and going through the very stressful and emotional process that any immigration case can cause. All through my ups and downs, Mr. Kramer has stuck with me, never let his guard down, he has guided me, supported me, kept me informed, told me the plain truth (as hard as the truth was to hear). I will never forget how he called me on a 24th of December (from his office, in the evening, rather than being home with his family) to lighten my Christmas up with wonderful news of sweet success! He truly seemed as happy as I was and patiently heard my cry of joy! I will never forget how professional he’s been with us; I absolutely respect him and have come admire his desire to help people like me!
