Karen Lee Goldman

Karen Goldman, who practices family law, is an attorney's attorney. I was referred to Ms. Goldman by an attorney. More to the point, I too am an attorney as well as a client of Ms. Goldman. Ms. Goldman drafted a prenuptial agreement for my recent marriage. I was extremely pleased with the qu...ality of the work. The prenup was comprehensive in its scope and very balanced, so my spouse and his attorney readily agreed to its terms. Moreover, Ms. Goldman's fee for the prenup was very reasonable and significantly below the fees that other attorneys charge. I have referred other clients to Ms. Goldman and will continue to do so in the future.

DANGER!! DANGER!! This is just a review but i hope it can help others. Karen Goldman delays everything (in my case prenuptial agreement) she overcharge you first and then delays 3 times longer compared to other attorneys on the same field. Never responds e mails or phone calls and after 1 month she d...ecide to finish your case she send you a bill with extra fees like e mails, phone calls etc (ex : 10 cents per e mail x 35 unexacting e mails 350 plus phone calls, etc)

In one year working with this attorney nothing in my case moved forward. Several times when she told me she would have a motion ready for filing, she didn't meet the agreed upon deadlines because emergency situations came up with her other clients and she frequently put my case on the back burner wit...h the excuse that her other clients' cases were more of an emergency than mine. She said she would help me get money from my husband if needed, but when I would tell her I was out of money she did nothing to get anything from him. When I requested she file a legal document with terms my husband and I agreed to she never followed through and because I do not have that document signed legally it cannot be used to help me and I have spent over $40,000 in total attorneys' fees between her fees and other attorneys' fees and my case is no closer to trial than it was two years ago.
