Upon receipt of a letter from the Office of Jason Clark, I contacted the office pertaining to an Unemployment Claim that was rejected by my employer and consequently by a UE Referee. Understanding that the employer’s stance as well as the initial decision pertaining to my case was unfair and incorrec...t, I felt that legal action was necessary. Upon contacting the office, Law Clerk Greg Diamond was extremely professional and always responsive to my needs. With the advice and assurance provided by the office I made the decision to proceed with Jason Clark’s office as my legal counsel. They prepared a brief citing discrepancies in the original decision made by Unemployment’s Referee and my former company. Based upon the brief, UE advised that I was entitled to a Remand hearing. Regen Shanzer was assigned to my case and walked me through what was needed for proof and testimony in the hearing. In spite of a very difficult hearing and re-examination by Regen during the hearing, my case ultimately was deemed eligible to receive benefits. I am very grateful by the efforts put through by all in the office and I am more than pleased that they were selected to represent me.

It is very tough to find anyone who wants to help companies in labor cases, which is why I was at least glad to have Clark to ask a few questions since I thought this case might put me out of business.... I couldn’t get anyone at the labor commission to even talk to me about it since they are just working to help the employees. After initially contacting Mr Clark's office regarding an upcoming Labor Board Hearing As the Defendant, I was still unsure about whether or not his service was needed. I was unsure because I so was angry about being in that situation as an employer and I wanted to just pay what was asked of me so t...he issue would just go away. The end result could also be the same if not far worse if the mediation process was not successful on the date of the hearing. My case was settled and in a blink of an eye everything was over. Had I not decided to obtain representation, I may be facing a drawn out labor board case that may very well bankrupt my small company that I have worked hard for many years to maintain. In my field I am like a Mom and Pop Shop in a sea of larger corporations, and I believe Mr Clark represented me with the same vigilance and attentiveness that he would have given to one of those larger companies.
