Integrity

Mr. Payab is an honest lawyer. He challenged my conventional view about lawyers and I believe that he will continue to do so. At this time, I am a student at USC and he spoke to me as if I were another professional. A lot of lawyers I tried to contact weren't taking me seriously, but Mr. Payab is ...very courteous and understanding. He is the type of lawyer, who will comfort you legally and emotionally to make sure he is doing the job. But also, taking care of the client's questions. He is the type of lawyer, you have to hire. Because I am certain that you won't regret this decision.

Dispute with landlord

My friend and I went to Mr. Payab regarding our legal dispute with our landlord. Mr. Payab provided very helpful and comprehensive consultation in many sessions. He described our situation in details, so when we went to the court, everything went so smooth. Overall, his legal advice had significan...t influence on our case and we won the court.

A complicated question made simple!

He went out of his way to confirm his advice and provided me with a prompt call back. He was able to confirm my suspicions that my ex-boss was screwing us out of overtime in California by not paying a weighted average for OT when there was two rates of pay. Time to head to the DLSE! Thanks David!

Understanding and knowledgeable

I am relatively independent and usually research legal questions on my own. This time I was stuck. David was able to quickly fill in the blanks, while showing that he understood our particular situation.

Landlord Dispute

Mr. Payab has been helping me through a dispute with my previous landlord. We met several times at a legal clinic he volunteers for. He has stayed late to answer all my questions and responded to my emails in a timely manner. He has done all of this pro-bono, so that says a-lot about him.
