The best lawyer anyone could wish for.

I found Heidi Lauer on Avvo when I needed to help my father with his divorce. She immediately put me at ease, explained the divorce process clearly, and set up a meeting in my home with my dad, step mom, and me to explain things more fully. She negotiated an amicable settlement between my parents. La...ter, unfortunately, my step mother decided to retain another lawyer, and what would have been a very civil divorce turned adversarial. Fortunately, Heidi is equally versed in amicable mediation as well as in shutting down and wading through unrealistic, unnecessary, and unscrupulous demands. After many months of "negotiation", my parents settled for the same fair settlement that Heidi suggested that first afternoon in my living room. I would highly recommend Heidi Lauer to anyone in need of a fair, honest, intelligent, easy to understand, ethical, and compassionate attorney. It's been a long road, but we couldn't have arrived at this satisfactory conclusion without her. We're truly fortunate we found her.

Heidi's the BEST!!!

Wow, I love Heidi! From the first conversation I was impressed by how knowledgeable and intuitive she is. She asked all the right questions, and I trusted her right from the start. I love that she is savvy and strategic yet committed to the best -- and least expensive -- outcome for all, especially... for my kids. She takes a long view and knows that one day my ex-wife and I will be sharing grandkids, so we want to resolve things as amicably as possible.. Heidi is not your traditional lawyer, which I find refreshing. She doesn't demand a huge upfront retainer, and in fact is willing to be extremely flexible with payment arrangements, which I needed and appreciated. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Heidi is amazing

Heidi is an incredible mediator . She helped with all the confusing divorce paperwork and guided me in the right direction. She was so helpful, sweet, organized, and knowledgable . I would highly recommend her!
