Tristan Tegroen

This review is highly overdue. In 2011, Tristan agreed to represent me in my divorce, when other Ventura County attorneys shied away because of who my husband was. Tristan didn’t charge me an arm and a leg. He got me an excellent order for spousal support which enabled me to pay for attorney fees, an...d he represented me for around 19 months until my divorce was finalized. Tristan is known and respected in the Ventura County Superior Courthouse. It is now 2023. Because Tristan secured my portion of pensions (and I am now collecting Social Security) I can actually pay for my living expenses. Not everyone can say that at retirement age. Thank you, Tristan! Thank you for looking after matters and getting me through my divorce, so that I can be where I am today. I would highly recommend you to anyone in their search for an attorney!

Tristan teGroen is a fabulous, extraordinarily experienced, ethical, well-respected, meticulous, quick, wicked-smart, Mensa-type, 100% on-top-of-it lawyer and as a bonus, a wonderfully clever, creative, compassionate and honestly most caring individual I have ever met. He goes over and beyond to take... care of your case - frequently working the weekend/late nights to keep a hot issue at bay. If you are FORTUNATE enough to have Tristan in your corner - which is most likely a truly difficult time in your life - you are VERY lucky. My case was very simple, and a matter of writing a settlement - until - it was not, when my X hired a "Ready for Trial" go-for-broke aggressive lawyer. Tristan approached this aggressive adversarial attitude with a smart, meticulous, professional, monk-like calmness and a "We-got-this-don't-worry" strength with his ever cool head. To someone like myself, who is not familiar with the legal system/processes, these things are unbelieveably frightening, shocking, scary and soul-devastating. Well what can I say, Tristan has been my attorney for over 10 years and he has NEVER let me down!!! I have spoken to many lawyers throughout my custody case, and even hired/fired several for incompetency. I had a consultation with Tristan and would hire him should I need to in the future, as I am now in the tail end of my case after the judgement has already been ruled on.
