Jack Chammas is a California attorney since 1996. He received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and then received his Juris Doctor Degree from Western State University, College of Law in Fullerton, California. He started his own law practice in 1996 and gained his experience representing clients in many aspects of the law including business law, business litigation, criminal law, bankruptcy, immigration, and torts.

After two years into his private practice, Jack joined a California Based Corporation as its in-house General Counsel. What started out as a small business venture eventually became the experience of his lifetime. Within ten years of working as General Counsel, the company grew exponentially to a multi-million dollar institution operating in over 49 States. As General Counsel, Jack Chammas (1) Researched and interviewed outside counsel; (2) Negotiated fee agreements with law firms; (3) Managed, reviewed and controlled billing; (4) Participated in discovery, court hearings, arbitration and settlement hearings; (5) Drafted and Monitored all contracts with clients, vendors, and independent contractors; (6) Handled Entire Risk Management Department for Corporation; (7) Handled Human Resource Compliance matters including: background checks, hiring, firing, employee disciplinary matters as well as employee releases, exit agreements and termination; (8) Handled, organized and maintained all corporate books, records and securities as well as government filings and compliance.

Recently, Jack was involved in complex commercial litigation and commercial breach of contract cases. He has represented clients in federal and state courts. He actively participated in State and Federal multi-million complex business litigation cases against major Fortune 500 publicly traded companies. One of the cases resulted in a $16 Million Dollars jury verdict. He is particularly skilled at simplifying complex matters for presentation to courts and juries. He prides himself on offering efficient and quality service and strongly believes that building a law practice is not about billable hours but about client trust.
