I hired Mr. Holmes to handle my divorce nearly three years ago. My divorce was complicated and nasty. In the end, Mr. Holmes was able to get me the time I deserved with my kids and my ex had to pay the alimony and child support I was owed. I have since recommended Mr. Holmes to a neighbor and a co-worker who both had very positive experiences as well. Robert Holmes said he would help me with my divorce case because my three prior attorney's failed to resolve my case. The last being from his office. I paid a retainer to Mr Holmes office and the only thing his associate did for me was get my spousal support removed and then I never heard from him ...again. After waiting three months for him to answer my calls Mr Holmes called, apologized, then told me that his associate had left the firm and they didn't know where he was. At my initial meeting with Mr Holmes I was promised a quick and end to my horrible divorce. I never heard from him again and he gave my case to a new attorney in his office who got the job done but charged me money I didn't owe. He already had a retainer from me and wouldn't show me the hours this associate worked. I should have been reimbursed not charged more. I would never recommend Mr Holmes to anyone for any reason.
