THE BEST!!!

Chris was the first lawyer I called within Pasadena area. I didn’t hesitate to choose his firm as my first choice, and I knew right away he’s the one to solve my case. The initial phone call didn’t feel like I was talking to a lawyer, felt more like a long time friend that I haven’t seen in a while, there is peace from start to finish! After I told him everything he knows what’s up, and did everything to provide multiple options for me while also being firm on what’s best for my case. Result was unbelievable, I made it to my Flight Attendant training with the mainline airline with my case dismissed! Beyond Satisfied, Even 3+ Years Later

Chris Miller represented me in 2019 for a shoplifting case. Embarrassingly, this was not my first time in court so I was concerned I was going to get a harsher punishment. I hired Chris because he was the only attorney who took the time to discuss my case in detail without being too pushy about hiring him. He was also the most reasonable attorney and always replied to my questions even before I hired him. He also exudes competency and made me feel like everything was going to be ok. He did an excellent job on my case and even got the case dismissed after I did a bit of community service. I was pleasantly surprised at how well he was able to make a deal with the DA. He said he has good relationships with the courts; in this case, it was Alhambra court. He is incredibly professional yet personable. Last night I realized I need information on that case since I'm living out of state and shifting careers and need criminal background information for licensing. I left a message around 11 pm on his website and received a text message around 7 am today with the information I need. His assistant is even going to the court to get me certified copies of the case at no charge. This is such a big help considering courts can take forever for document requests and being out of state added to the difficulty in getting those documents. I highly recommend him!

Highly Recommended

Chris is an excellent attorney. Not only is he very good at what he does, he's also a very caring, patient, and understanding guy. He's very responsive and always talks to you like it's your first meeting with him. This is a very rare attribute for an attorney, and I don't know how he's able to maintain such sympathy and composure all the time. I hired Chris to help me get out of a post DV case mess and he simply cruised through it. The outcome was successfully removing TRO, terminating probation, and getting an expungement. The attorneys I consulted before Chris all made these tasks sound impossible, and of course they still would charge you a hefty, forbidden amount of fee. That's why I was so impressed by Chris' work; he really knows what he's doing. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone who's seeking an outstanding, reliable attorney.

Best Lawyer Ever, Truly the GOAT

He has to be hands down the best lawyer I have ever met. Extremely nice and communicative. It was a low point in my life and made a dumb mistake at work which resulted in me being arrested. I was terrified at the thought of jail time and he assured me he will bring give me the best defense possible. Needless to say he did and he was able to get my case dismissed and through the entire process he would always keep in touch with me with any important information and if I needed an update he would give it asap. I never had to go to court and miss work and went about my life like if it was normal until the day he called me and let me know the case was dismissed. It felt like a weight was finally lifted off my shoulders even though I paid no mind to it the entire time.

Highly skilled and responsive attorney

Chris is one of the best!

Last year I got into an car accident and had a small fender bender with another car. The police were brought in, and even though it was a small accident and the passenger didn't even need a ambulance (the damages was less than $1,000 to my insurance), but because of my past the police suspected me of being under the influence. I blew a 0.0 BAC, and I felt like passed my sobriety test (I asked them if I passed and they ignored my answer and deflected and kept asking other questions and then said they suspected me of being under the influence of drugs). I knew I was clean, I had nothing in my car, I told them I didn't wanna go but they told me if I didn't take the blood test I was gonna be an automatic fail. So my car got towed, I got taken to the local hospital and had my blood taken. I was detained overnight for a fender bender! The next day I called Chris and he assured me things were gonna be OK. I've been through this process before, and wanted to meet Chris inperson to talk over everything that happened and also my past. After we met for an hour, I was convinced Chris was the right guy for the job. He was gonna get me the best deal if it came to that, and also he was gonna fight every step of the way if it got to that point. Chris handled my DMV case (it was dropped of course I was clean), he contacted the DA about my case, and a letter was sent by the DA to both me and him the following week that my case was dropped. Most of the time my dealings with the attorney end there but not with Chris. He told me he would seal my case in a year down the line. Also 4 months after my case was dropped I got a hospital bill for my blood test. Chris also tried to talk to the hospital and get my bill dropped completely or reduced. This was all free of charge and part of the service he provided. Chris has gone above and beyond what my previous lawyers have done for me in the past. Hopefully I wont ever have to get another attorney again.... but if I do it's either gonna be Chris, or if it's not his area of expertise, then I'll hold all future lawyers to the standards that Chris has set.

Super friendly and helpful

I hired Chris for a first DUI offense, I was afraid I was going to lose my driving privilege as well as employment. Luckily Chris was able to help me with all of that. He would respond fast and explained everything to me to keep my mind at ease. I would definitely recommend him as your lawyer if you are looking for a great DUI attorney.

Good Man, Even Better Lawyer

Chris has really gone above & beyond for me--over the course of 1.5 years no less! Not only was he completely transparent & reachable, but he took the time to answer questions that weren't even applicable to what he represented me for. Stand up guy. Totally defies the stereotypes attributed to lawyers. My predicament was very complicated & then elongated because of Covid. Chris didn't miss a BEAT. There was never a moment where I felt as though my issue WASN'T his immediate concern--which is rare for ANYONE, let alone a lawyer. But what made me the most happy with Chris was his transparency... I barely had to ask a single follow up question. He walked me through every possible scenario & the likelihood of occurrence for each. The LAST thing you want is an attorney who's going to make a bunch of false promises. Chris was always honest, supportive, positive, and allowed me to sleep tight knowing I had no questions go unanswered. Would give him 6 stars if I could!

Excellent Attorney/Great Communication

I can't say enough about the way Chris handled my case. For years, I'd wanted to request expungements for two 20 + year old cases, but was too frightened to navigate the legal system myself. After doing some research and finding Chris, I finally felt confident enough to proceed. Since legal issues are inherently nerve wracking, his competence and consideration of my appreciable trepidation over facing this issue were especially welcome! I was most impressed by how calmly and professionally Chris walked me through the process, managing to quell my nerves along the way. Moreover, Chris made everything extremely easy--we handled my case mostly online as his office just emailed me paperwork, signature forms, etc. Importantly, even though the paperwork was handled over the internet, Chris immediately responded to all my questions in person. In fact, he was so accessible that I jokingly told him he absolutely works too much! Ultimately, Chris was able to successfully have both cases expunged and, because of Covid, he even requested that I not have to personally appear before the judge. I truly can't thank him enough!!! Chris is an unparalleled attorney whose professional skills have lifted a massive burden from my shoulders. I can now confidently recommend his services highly!

DUI

My girlfriend and I were looking for a DUI lawyer after unfortunately receiving a second DUI. I was still on probation and after my experience with my first DUI, I thought this was going to be worst than my first. The experience with my first lawyer who handled my first DUI case was disappointing, stressful and I felt like I had much more to deal with. Before contacting Chris, I contacted other lawyers who were unprofessional and quickly judged my situation… I didn’t expect any good news after that. Luckily, we came across Chris and his reviews caught our attention. We immediately contacted him and to our surprise, Chris was very understanding and helpful. He answered all our questions and quickly arranged to meet with us. He made the process smooth, kept us updated and gave us great results. Best criminal defense lawyer out there!

At the beginning of last year I was in a dark, suffocating place, battling cruel bipolar demons. I was out of control and didn't know where to turn. I wanted the tornado in my brain to die down, so I self medicated and found myself the cause of a horrible drink driving accident. I'm very lucky, and so grateful, no one was hurt. It was an epic wake up call. The next day I knew I needed psychiatric care and a bloody good lawyer. I called around, explaining my situation to various criminal defense lawyers, and from the first "hello" I knew Chris Miller was my man. He really stood out from the rest. Chris is compassionate, empathic, honest and holds no judgement. He listens, genuinely cares about your situation, and is tenacious about delivering you the best possible outcome. He believes in second chances and rehabilitation. He fights hard for his clients and is highly respected by the courts. He worked with me, closely and patiently, for a whole year, and negotiated an outcome I didn't think was possible, given the circumstances. Chris literally saved me life. If I could put 10 starts, I would!

I got into some trouble for making a little mistake. Chris Miller was amazing at reassuring me that everything will be fine. He made sure I understood every step that my cass was going to go through and was always here when I had questions! In the end, my case will be dismissed in 6 months after I complete some hours of volunteering! He is a firm believer that "we all make mistakes, but it doesn't mean we are bad people!" I will recommend him to as much people as I can! Thank you Chris!

Domestic Violence Case Dropped

I can not thank Chris enough for his help in my situation. I am a Registered Nurse and had an accusation for Domestic Violence which can be detrimental for an RN. From day one I knew I wanted to work with him because he took my call himself quickly and spoke open and honestly with me, and his his fees are fair (I spoke to multiple lawyers). Chris made himself available to me whenever I had questions or concerns, there was never a time that I felt I didn’t know what was going on like it is working with a public defender in my experience. I felt more comfortable at court knowing he was there. My case was closed with no charges, I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome... this firm helped make the best out of a terrible situation.

Highly recommended

Christopher Miller is a skilled, knowledgable attorney, and his work in the present case resulted in criminal charges being dropped before the initial court date. As I have never before had need for a criminal defense attorney, he was identified for this case based on a rapid scan of on-line reviews, was the first attorney to respond (which he did within the hour), and though I spoke with other attorneys, he immediately won my confidence and was hired.
