Outstanding lawyer!

Beth Davis and her legal assistant Noemi Cuevas with Kantor & Kantor helped me appeal my long term disability claim. Beth was extremely thorough, and easy to reach. She brought the appropriate resources to my claim, and kept me informed during the process. My claim with my private insurance carrie...r was successful, and I was thoroughly pleased it was done quickly. I now look forward to receiving future benefits making it easier to manage my disability. I highly recommend Beth Davis as attorney, to anyone needing representation in connection with disability matters.

The best firm in this industry!

In 2015, I became ill and began to feel numbness and tingling on the left side of my body. I also experienced left sided weakness, memory loss, balance issues, falls and started to forget my words and the ability to resolve math problems. This all greatly impacted my day to day life activities and m...y ability to work my 8 hour a day demanding job. I was hospitalized in 2017 and loss the ability to move my upper and lower extremities for several days. A brain MRI revealed lesions in my brain or demyelination disease known as MS. Although I had all these symptoms, I saw several neurologists who believed I had MS while others were uncertain. My case fell into a grey area which was a bit of a challenge for my LTD claim and Social Security claims which were denied two times. I was in disbelief and broke down the day I read the second denial notice. I emailed several inquiries to attorneys that day and Mr. Glenn Kantor himself called me within minutes of hitting send. My case was not an ordinary case and posed challenges because of my grey diagnosis but he took the time to call me and explain the process. After speaking with him I felt relieved and hopeful. It was going to be a challenging road ahead but after speaking with Mr. Kantor I knew I was in good hands. Words can not describe how grateful I am to this firm for taking on my case. Kantor and Kantor appealed both of my denied LTD claims and Social Security claim which were all favorable. Glenn, Kelli, Beth, Noemi and Megan are some of the most caring and compassionate people in this industry. They are honest, reliable, professional and very responsive. This firm is passionate about helping people. Beth is an expert in this field and is very very knowledgeable with the LTD process and policies. She is strong willed and assertive and tackled my case at all angles. Kelli kept me informed throughout the entire process and was truly concerned about my well being, my health and my needs as a person and a client. She was available on a daily basis and promptly responded to my questions professionally. Kantor and Kantor worked to build a strong case and followed up and supported my case and myself throughout the process. Their team showed their best at all time. I appreciate every effort Kantor and Kantor put into my case and would like to thank them for the priceless information and advice they gave me. I would highly recommend and refer this firm to my friends and family.

Beth Davis of Kantor & Kantor is an excellent disabilty attorney!

I’m a lawyer. So when I became ill and needed an attorney, I researched every disability firm in Southern California. At the top of my list was Kantor & Kantor. The day I met Glenn Kantor, he had just undergone painful dental surgery and had only returned to the office to pick up a few files bef...ore heading home. Nevertheless, Glenn agreed to stay and speak to me about my situation. The meeting lasted a couple of hours. Halfway through, I had already decided to hire his firm. So, for the rest of the conversation, I felt like I was talking to a concerned friend. If you are seriously ill, you know how good it feels to speak to someone who both understands and cares what you are going through. After retaining his services, Glenn introduced me to a younger lawyer at his firm, Beth Davis. When I met with Beth, I realized she had already read and understood the medical literature on my illness, which was no small task, given that I have a rare and difficult to understand condition. After the meeting, Beth requested my medical records—again, not an easy task, given the number of physicians I had seen—and then planned a course of action. When all the information was gathered, we submitted the claim to my insurance company, supported by numerous doctor letters and the latest medical research. When the insurance company sent one of its investigators to interview me, Beth was at my side. Soon thereafter, I was awarded full benefits. Of course there were a few bumps along the way—doctors don’t always keep the best notes and insurance companies are apt to misinterpret them—but Beth resolved every problem admirably, making sure that, in the end, I received everything I was entitled to under my policy. And she managed to do so without irritating or upsetting my insurance company. At a time when I was not physically capable of handling stress, I found working with Kantor & Kantor a complete pleasure. They are, no doubt, the best disability law firm in Southern California.

Changed my LIFE!

My life changed a couple of years ago after having a surgery. As a result I suffered from extensive nerve damage. I am in chronic pain that elevated to from an 8 to 10 daily on a pain scale from 1 to 10. Before the surgery I lived an active and fulfilling personal life. I thrived in my professional l...ife. My passions and purpose were now a distant memory. I could no longer sit, stand, sleep, cook or any other basic functions without excruciating pain. In the last year I suffered many lost professionally but personally was the greatest impact. I lost my home, income, and a career that I loved. The ability to support my daughter at her recitals, college tours and awards ceremony due to my illness was NO longer an option. That was the most painful of all of this. I didn’t know where to turn but I knew I had to fight but how because all of my strength presently was literally trying to exist emotionally and physically in excruciating pain every day. Imagine feeling like a cigarette was burning you repeatedly in the most sensitive spot on a woman (pelvic area) pain my strength was very low. Imagine a many needles stabbing you consistently when you wake up and go to sleep….With that said, energy to fight the denial of an appeal for long term disability felt impossible but then came Beth Perez, attorney at Kantor and Kantor! I goggled disability attorneys and read the reviews of several but Kantor and Kantor stood out and immediately I felt they were qualified and could be the strength and execute the knowledge that I didn’t have to fight the battle of my appeal being denied by my current insurance. After speaking to Beth she restored something I lost which was HOPE. They didn’t promise me anything they couldn't deliver but they fulfilled everything they promised such as strong follow up, the best strategy, represented me in an authentic light, and guide me through this painful and stressful journey. Beth laid everything out for me regarding next steps, actions to be taken, measurable goals, and also provided me with amazing referrals that assisted me in my journey to be healthy. This was huge for me because I was so sensitive at the time and often very emotional during most phone conversations. Knowing she actually cared about me and wanted to see me in less pain made me trust her more. The challenge was I had many healthcare professionals and motivating them to send me the information that was needed to support my case was a challenge. When you are in chronic pain the smallest task is a MOUNTAIN and it seems impossible to attempt to climb. However Beth motivation and determination allowed me to push myself to complete the task. Once I reviewed the appeal to be sent to the appeal board, tears and integrity were emotions that filled my heart. I felt that someone actually listened and presented the information in a way that I never could. I felt I had a great chance to win. In addition there was a backup plan if it were denied. After a long journey of not being able to pay medical bills, exhausting monies that were supposed to be used for my daughter’s college education and feeling as though financially I was pass the end, “THE EMAIL” came that I had been waiting for...The email basically said GREAT NEWS and I knew what that meant. I was shaking, crying and in so much gratitude. We had won the appeal! I could now pay my bills, continue to get the medical attention needed and pay my basic necessities. I realize I have a very long journey ahead but having my condition acknowledged and to alleviate some of the stress of the medical hardship made my fear lessen! Thank you Kantor and Kantor and most af all THANK YOU BETH!
