I hired Dorothy Gibbons-White to represent me in a very difficult, complicated divorce which involved a post-nup, (hidden in a living trust) child custody, and community property division. She was my rock star! She was always several steps ahead of my husband's high priced lawyer and was able to re...ach a fair settlement without having to go to trial, which is where it was heading. She not only fought for what was mine, she helped me rebuild my confidence in myself after such a difficult separation and divorce. I feel good about the fees I paid for Dorothy's services, without her, I would have had nothing! Originally I hired a different attorney, but after he started taking unauthorized actions, (only to hurt my case) I fired him and found Dorothy, what a miracle! Her combined knowledge and experience with estate planning and family law was exactly what I needed. There was no way the other side was getting anything by her! The judge complimented her on more than one occasion in court for her work and preparation on my case. The irony is when we settled the divorce, my ex husband paid Dorothy to draw up the settlement, instead of using his own attorney, and by his choice! Even he knew by the end, she was the one to be trusted to be fair and do an excellent job! She helped what started as a unfriendly divorce turn into an amicable agreement, which is priceless to me, especially considering my ex and I have a child together. I have so much gratitude for her help, and wouldn't want to imagine where I would be today without her!

If you want your trust to go to her higher her, she will do a great job keeping your money and will fight to the end to make sure the bill goes up high. Her quote" I charge the same whether your trust is worth a few thousand dollars than if is worth millions" She will continue to fight even when the...re is no more $ to fight. She will get her share and that is all she in interested in doing. It would have been nice if she could really give you advice, charge for her services and move on, instead of keeping what little was left to you. If you don't believe me higher her.
