Excellent experience working with Jon Furgison

We originally contacted Jon Furgison in August of 2013 to discuss our situation and to see if he thought we had a case. We were instantly impressed with his legal knowledge, demeanor, patience and compassion for our what we were trying to pursue. We ultimately hired Mr. Furgison as our legal counse...l for the case on a contingency basis and having never gone through a legal preceding, this was all very new to me and my family. Once hired, Mr. Furgison filed our claim and started to work with opposing counsel to try and reach a settlement. When it was clear that a settlement wasn't going to be reached, we started to prepare for FINRA arbitration. Mr. Furgison took care of everything behind the scenes (court filings, discussions with arbitrators and opposing counsel, obtaining an expert witness, etc.) all while keeping us informed of the progress and helping us prepare for the arbitration. Again, never having gone through this we didn't know the arbitration process or what would be expected of us, but Mr. Furgison was able to help us prepare and was always available when we had questions. Arbitration lasted all five days, were were in attendance the entire time and it was an eye-opening experience. Mr. Furgison did an outstanding job explaining our case, why we were wronged and why we were owed compensatory damages. At the same time, he was equally impressive in refuting any of the opposing counsel's claims and handling all witnesses involved (both ours and theirs). The arbitration hearing was completed on December 12th, 2014. We felt very confident in what we presented, and at no time did we ever feel that we made the wrong decision in hiring Mr. Furgison to handle our case. Ultimately we received the results from the arbitration panel and we were awarded 100% of damages we were seeking! From my understanding in speaking with friends who are attorney's, this is almost never the case. To hear that news was absolutely surreal and we felt so validated due to the length of time we had pursued this and how much effort was put into this case by all of us, especially Mr. Furgison. I can honestly say that I would recommend anyone who is seeking legal representation should contact Jon Furgison. He was great to work with and ultimately was able to provide our family with the entire amount of monetary damages we were seeking.
