In personal, academic, and professional aspects of my life, I have always had an interest in international and cultural affairs. As a child of Turkish and Mexican parents, I was reared in a multi-cultural household, resulting in my conversational use of Spanish and Turkish languages.
During my University education, I was a governing member of Trenza, the Hispanic women’s organization, and also participated in the University’s English Language Conversation Partner Program as an English Tutor. In addition to being a research assistant to a Professor, I studied abroad in Turkey as well as in the Netherlands.
My legal career has including positions as an associate attorney in an 80 member law firm, serving as in-house counsel for a private business, and as a clerk/legal assistant for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.
With my background, I understand the importance of a personal connection and an objective, open dialogue when dealing with issues that affect the well being of you and your loved ones. Founding the Law Offices of Yasmin Kayiran has given me the ability to use my education and experience to directly help people and provide legal services with guidance, knowledge, and passion.
