The police conducted a DUI investigation. The police formed the opinion that Miguel had been drinking and demanded a blood test at the hospital. The police said Miguel "Refused" to give a blood sample and the DMV charged him with a "Refusal". If it were found to be true that Miguel refused a chemical test his license would have been suspended for a year or more and he would have lost his job. A DMV administrative per se hearing was held by the DMV in an effort to try and suspend SG's driver's license. Through the defense's investigation and expert testimony, the DMV matter was set-aside and no suspension took place.

The police investigating and determined that Ivan had just pulled into the parking spots. A DUI investigation proved that Ivan was impaired for purposes of driving and he was arrested and charged with a DUI. Through an extensive Defense investigation and witness testimony, we were able to prove that what the police said did not happen and Ivan was in fact not driving with a 0.08 or above blood alcohol level.

James was involved in a multi-car accident in Santa Monica. The SMPD responded to the scene of the collision and conducted an investigation for driving under the influence.
