Biography
Liran Aliav practices in all areas of trusts and wills, including estate planning, trust litigation and disputes, trust and probate administration, probate litigation, and conservatorships. Liran is dedicated to meeting all of his client’s needs and goals.
Liran has guided dozens of clients in creating customized estate plans with asset protection, divorce protection, and complex distribution schemes. Liran has experience in advanced estate planning techniques that reduce estate and income taxes.
Recently, Liran has obtained a favorable judgment in trust litigation matter involving several handwritten trust amendments in a multi-million dollar estate. In addition, Liran helped one of his clients obtain a favorable jury verdict at trial regarding property in an open probate. Liran handled all matters in a jury and bench trial, such as gathering evidence in discovery, choosing members of a jury, and examining and cross-examining witnesses on the stand.
Liran received both a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Masters in Taxation (LL.M.) from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2013. He graduated cum laude from U.C.L.A. in 2009. Liran is admitted to practice in the State of California and Central District of the United States District Court.
