Currently using this lawyer for a car accident in which we where hit by a drunk driver. Big mistake. They do not return phone calls, did not pay my doctor as they agreed to. Currently looking into what I can do about this situation.

I dont know why this site says no misconduct found because I hired this man to represent me in my car accident case 6 years ago and ended up having to file a complaint with the state bar because He didnt pay any of my medical bills. He also accepted a settlement without my consent. I was under the impression that after the state bar contacted him that my bills were paid. Low and behold here it is six years later and I just got another bill over 2000.00 dollars for physical therapy that he never paid. My credit has suffered because of this. He also asked me to negotiate with my collectors in 2007 because they wouldnt go as low as he wanted. Am I mistaken or isnt that what you pay a lawyer for? To handle all the paperwork and bill negotiating so that you dont have the burden. I paid David Mamann almost 9,000 dollars and he didnt even do what I hired him to do. So if you want to spend the next ten years getting bills and doing his job for him then that is a choice you will have to make. I would not recommend him to anyone!
