I don’t normally write reviews, but I feel it’s my responsibility to warn others about my experience with Marvin. We spent thousands of dollars hiring him to represent us in an extremely serious law case, and from beginning to end, it was a disaster. Marvin was completely unresponsive. I would cal...l him multiple times a day, often for days, just to get even a basic update or answer to a simple question. He constantly juggled so many cases that it became clear our case was not a priority to him at all. He openly admitted he was overwhelmed with work and treated our situation like just another paycheck. What made it even worse was that, despite all the time I spent preparing him, coaching him, and giving him every detail of our case, when we got to court, Marvin forgot everything. The opposing lawyer ran circles around him while we sat there helpless. It was as if all the preparation, all the documents, and all my efforts to help him understand our case were completely wasted. There was no passion, no commitment, no real legal strategy—just delay tactics and empty promises. Marvin put in zero real effort to fight for us when it mattered most. It felt like we were scammed by someone who only cared about collecting a fee and moving on to the next client. I would never recommend Marvin to anyone under any circumstances. If you are looking for a lawyer who will genuinely care about your case, fight for you, and actually do the work, stay far away from Marvin.

I retained Marvin Vallejo to represent in an assault trial in Los Angeles that could have cost me my legal residence in the U.S. The charges were serious and there were multiple witnesses accusing me of doing things I did not do. Marvin handled the case extremely well during the investigation, the ...trial, and even after trial. In the end I was able to keep my legal residence because everything Marvin did in the criminal case was geared toward protecting my legal status in this country. My family and I are immensely grateful to Marvin for all his great work. Highly recommend.

Please do not use this attorney if I can call him that. He is not someone you can trust. He forgot our case, then he did not respond to my calls and eventually said he will take care of it.
