2-12-2025 Today is a great day for me as deportation proceedings were terminated; this started 3 years ago as I was coming back from my hometown and was detained for some run ins with the law I have had many years ago and that showed up on their end at the airport; I was detained and then put on ISA...P supervision; this whole time Mr Jalaie was steady on all my court appearances and went the extra mile to vacate my old cases; the way he went about handling my case showed his judicial skills and knowledge in immigration and criminal law. In 2002, I was convicted of attempted murder and gang allegations and I was sent to prison. After serving 20 years I was released from prison but I was picked up by ICE and placed in immigration custody detention center awaiting deportation to a country that I really didn’t know. Do NOT recommend. He was hired almost 4 years ago to represent and assist my mother with her U-Visa. He did NOTHING. He just sat in my mother's file for almost 4 yrs. He NEVER filed my mom's petition for a U-Visa. He always gave b.s excuses. He only "worried" about her case after I threatened to repo...rt him to the State Bar. I'm so upset for not dismissing him before! If you really care about yourself and your loved ones, find yourselves a more experienced and competent attorney.
