I don’t think people understand how medical malpractice could be happening to them, and they would not realize it at all. My wife and I did everything by the book she took all the vitamins, had all the prenatal checkups, exercised, and ate well. We've had numerous tests and ultrasounds that show our baby being healthy and perfect but it all changed when we were in the delivery room. They said it was a breech delivery, b...ut they should've been able to resolve it quickly, right? Fagel helped me get to the bottom of it—it turned out that one of their residents was drunk, and he accidentally hit a vital organ. I wouldn't have known about it if not for Dr. Fagel! The hospital offered me a settlement, but Dr. Fagel convinced me to go to trial. Well, I am glad we did—that resident and the surgeon both had his medical licenses revoked, and we came out richer by the millions. It is not enough for what they took from us, but at least the public knows about them, and they'll think twice about operating drunk again!

Dr. Fagel is amazing to watch in action. Being a doctor/lawyer he had total command at each stage of my case. It was clear from the start that the defense side was afraid of him. Whereas my family and I kept getting the runaround after my son was negligently harmed and we couldn't get any answers as ...to what exactly happened, once we called Dr. Fagel he explained to us exactly what went wrong and gave us the answers we were seeking. He advised us how we can make sure my son is taken care of for the rest of his life and followed through with his promise to zealously advocate on my son's behalf. His grasp of medical/scientific knowledge is truly incredible. He reviewed the thousands of pages of medical records pertaining to my son's care and boiled it down to the key critical mistakes that happened. At the settlement conference, Dr. Fagel laid out every option, explaining the pros and cons to help guide our decisions. Ultimately, he made it very clear that it was totally our choice whether to accept a settlement or go to trial and his job was to make sure we understood the process, what was involved, and how much we would need for my son's care. We ultimately decided to settle because the hospital basically folded once Dr. Fagel started talking. We are very happy with the settlement and can now rest assured knowing our son has everything he could ever need and we can finally move on from this tragic affair. While Dr. Fagel couldn't heal my son himself, he could and did get us the funds to make sure my son and our family is well taken care of, just like he said at the start of our case.
