Nicholas Alexander Salick

Nick helped me through a very long and difficult divorce process. He heard my concerns regarding my specific challenges and worked with me for almost 3 years until we finally acomplished a settlement through mediation. My ex and I have an autistic child and Nick was willing to colaborate with a speci...al needs attorney (who he now has a close working relationship with) to help figure out how to best serve our son in our case. Nick has a personal connection to special needs cases as he grew up with a brother who has challenges. This was apparent through most of our process and it did help a great deal while working through our case. Nick and I became professionally close throughout this process and I always knew that he would go to bat for me in court should it need to go there. He was equally supportive during the mediation process, regularly expressing that he would be very happy for us if we could negotiate and settle out of court. If I emailed him with an urgent header, he responded very quickly. There were a couple of times where he either had a full week in court or he had to go out of town that I wasn't able to get in touch with him as quickly as I would have liked. But I realize that he has a full client list and I get that he does need to leave to take breaks from his work. However, He has just partnered with someone and I think the expansion will eliviate that issue. The other positive aspects of our working relationship outweigh this one issue since he never left me hanging. I was always able to get in touch with him within a couple of days, even during the rare occasion that it wasn't quickly as I wanted. Going through a divorce is really difficult and everything can feel like an emergency when you are at odds with someone, So I get that it could be really difficult to be on call in this way to multiple clients when you are also in court. I hope this review is helpful, Nick is really a great attorney who saw it through to the end with us and our nuaced situation and I appreciate all of his hard work very much.

Nick Salick spent over $8000 in under two months and only gave me a box of useless papers that were copied in triplicate, of course he charged for each one and these were never used in court. He didn't return calls in a timely manner and overcharged for every phone call . He didn't explain anythin...g. He left my case and the firm itself without letting us know. Worst experience during one of the hardest times of my life.
