Andrew Delahunt is a criminal defense attorney who has handled both federal and state cases throughout the State of California. Andrew Delahunt was born in Ireland and immigrated to Southern California when he was a child. Mr. Delahunt has devoted his entire legal career to defending people accused of crimes. Throughout his three years of law school he interned for the Orange County Public Defender’s Office. For the first year he worked in the felony department, where he wrote motions, met with clients, researched case law, drafted and filed expungment motions. The second year he worked in the writs and appeals department, assisting clients by writing and filing motions to suppress. The third year, Mr. Delahunt became a certified law clerk and began appearing in court to argue motions under the supervision of an attorney.

After law school, Mr. Delahunt became an associate at one of the most prestigious criminal defense law firms in the State of California. While at the firm, Mr. Delahunt handled cases varying from minor driving violations to felony strike offenses which carry severe prison sentences. In addition to handling general criminal cases, Andrew Delahunt focused on medical marijuana cases which involved complicated defenses that if presented properly to the Judge and District Attorney could result in dismissals.

In early 2013, Andrew Delahunt started his own criminal practice and currently maintains offices in West Hollywood and Anaheim. Andrew Delahunt has devoted his practice to serving those that need him the most.
