This was my first time getting in trouble like this and I was very scared. I was charged with misdemeanor assault and battery for defending myself from a man who followed me into my parking garage and was filming me. Unfortunately, I was not filming and the video he showed the police was one in which... only I appeared to be the aggressor. Andrew was disappointed with how the situation was handled and asked what outcome I would like to see with this case. Of course I wanted it to go away like it never happened. I didn’t want to see the man again who had held my arm in a lock almost breaking it in three places. I have PTSD from that incident and get a horrible feeling of dread in my gut every time I go back to that garage. Andrew suggested getting a deferment seeing as this was my first offense. I just got the news that we got the outcome we wanted and I’ll have to do some anger management classes and community service which I think will ultimately be good things. After 12 months of staying out of trouble this misdemeanor will be erased from my record like it had never happened and I can go back to my life as a law-abiding citizen. Andrew made every step of this calm and simple. He really helped me feel better throughout the whole process, which is saying something because I was quite a nervous wreck. While it angers me that the man who physically assaulted me (despite the cops only seeing my defense from his assault) is still walking around Beverly Hills practicing law, I’m ready to try to put this ordeal behind me and move on. I’m able to do that thanks in full to Andrew and his hard work and expert counsel.
