What this "lawyer" failed to do: return phone calls or emails, be informed of the specifics of the case. Took it amongst himself to spend time writing unnecessary documents, attempting to charge for them, never giving an explanation. Try to get him to do what you hired him for? Impossible. H...e is ALL about communication in the beginning, but don't expect anything after giving him a retainer. Did not ONE thing he agreed to do, produced NOTHING he was hired for, and trying to charge for it every step of the way. He assures you whatever your case is, is right up his alley, explaining in detail how he will work to get the job done. 4 months into hiring him, he failed to produce nor file the one single thing he was hired to do. He breached his contract, continued to make every attempt at getting more money from us, which was the most we ever heard from him. I imagine if we heard from him half as much about our lawsuit as we did him wanting money, we probably would have gotten something filed with the court. Because of him we are under even a tighter time constraint to file something that should have been done months ago. I absolutely would NOT recommend this man..I can't even call him an "attorney" because that would be putting him in the company of the real thing. Whatever your needs are...there is somebody better. Continue looking. If you become desperate and feel he may be the only one left on the planet? Still-keep looking.

I first met Attorney Aalok Sikand a little over 2 years ago when my wife and I had to file for bankruptcy. He had been working for another law firm and was assigned to our case. About 3-5 months into it, we received a letter from the firm (and a separate letter from Aalok) stating that he was leaving... and we needed to make a decision to either stay with them or continue to have Aalok represent us. We chose Aalok because from the beginning it felt like he was on our side. Even when things began to look bleak, Aalok contacted us to make sure we were OK and that we kept up to date on any payments, appointments, etc. When things weren't going the way we wanted them to, he didn't just take our money and abandon us. He's had our back throughout the whole ordeal. I haven't had many dealings with attorneys, but Aalok doesn't fit the negative stereotype. He's done what's expected of him and more, going beyond to assist our family through this trying time. Would I recommend him? That's a no brainer!

This man is a great Lawyer.He has been very Trustworthy and Responsive to my matter.This man is very Caring and Understanding ,of which it is very hard to find a decent and especially a honest attorney these days.Mr Sikand is one of those few Lawyers that are hard to find.He has done wonders with our... case.

Bank of America was foreclosing on our home. That we had built 10 years ago. Mr Sikand and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in our situation. He helped us explorer all the avenues, be it a remode or short sale. B Of A refused The offers in The short sale. Leaving my wife and I no Out except F...or bk. We were Not happy. And when something went sideways, he guided ud thru it. We had to refile and he knew we were Out Of money . He covered The refile fees. I have never heard Of s Lawyer doing such a thing. So we made it thru with Mr Sikand help. He is first rate in our book.

I had a tenant who had been in my property for six months without paying rent. I had hired and eviction service but had no luck getting them out. When I consulted with Aalok he was very knowledgable about landlord/tenant law. He immediately wrote up a three day notice and walked me through the pro...cess of serving the tenant. When tenant failed to respons Aalok filed the Unlawful Detainer and within three weeks the tennants had vacated the property. Aalok was the reason why the process went so fast after I hired him. He also offered to help me out with paper work when i takei take tenants to small claim free of charge. He professionalism and knowledge is one of his greatest assests. I will definetly be using his services in the future.
