i hired the lawyer for a straight forward Unlawful case involving gross manager negligence that broke the lease as property became untenable, additionally no occupancy permit was in place for at least 11 years. We had prepped the lawyer verbally and with over 1200+ documents-videos-audios-Etc. Almost... 400 form and special interrogatories arrive in questions for each of bus in the mail from our lawyer on 12th hour on Friday with out any guidance due by the following Monday. The lawyer said conflicting things regarding what the ask and how we answer yet was no where around to even answer calls from his business#, His business cell, personal cell, email or texts. Court date came, we showed up the specified time 8:30am. 4.5 hours the lawyer shows up empty handed and unprepared. We reluctantly the stipulated agreement signed under much duress in the hall outside court. But 2 weeks later the court dock revealed that we forfeited all our rights under the lease. WE WENT TO COURT ON THE DATE ON THE PAPER WORK 11/12/2010 We had fired the lawyer at the end of september 2010, We had a substation of attorney prepared. the Clerk threw away our paperwork away and said a judgement had been entered against us and we could never open this case or sue the principals as the lawyer had forfeited our rights on November 2,2010 when he showed up alone in court to finales. Having known that I would have done this myself.

We hired Mr. Uzoh to ensure that we got our security deposit back from our difficult landlord. Before we moved out, Mr. Uzoh sent a letter to our landlord detailing the legal obligation to return our money and clearly stating the consequences should our landlord fail to follow the law. Then, when o...ur landlord contacted Mr. Uzoh in an attempt to get us to sign a release to get our money returned, Mr. Uzoh was very firm and clear with our landlord that we had no obligation to sign anything and that he needed to return our money or face a lawsuit for three times the amount of our security deposit. Our landlord drove over to Mr. Uzoh's office that day with a check for the full amount he owed to us. We are very pleased with Mr. Uzoh's representation and are convinced we would never have gotten our security deposit returned without his assistance.
