Joseph S Farzam

I personally retained Joseph Farzam & I had the worst experiences. He is utterly unprofessional, dishonest, rude, and impossible to deal with. I had the exact same problems that so many other former clients have had with him. He is currently under investigation with the BAR for financial fraud, case ...neglect & other offenses punishable by the BAR. I had & have an excellent injury case. His office called me for 2 weeks & begged to take my case. I finally retained him. However, in over 6 or so months, his office has neglected my case until I had to call another firm to take the case. Do not hire this attorney in any capacity. His office & staff will ruin your case, no matter how good said case is. When I called his office, Farzam himself answered the phone but pretended to be an "assistant" & hung up on me. Ridiculous. Nothing but dishonesty, lies, misdirection, time wasting, and other damages. On Monday I'm filing with the BAR, myself.

This is not the law office you want. They held on to my accident case for 5 years, never submitted the vehicle collision report from the auto body shop to the other attorneys and tried to force me to settle after 5 years of doing nothing. I asked this attorney for my file 2years into the case and he ...refused to give it to me. I filled a complaint with the state bar in February amd in retaliation he secretly removes himself from my case in july after finding out about my state bar complaint. Never once did he have me served with any paperwork from the courts stating that he wanted to be removed. But was still sending me emails like he was working on the case but he wasn't, he has himself removed from my case without cause or giving me proper notice. Only way I found out about his removal was from the bar association. Which he is currently under inspection for misconduct and abandonment of his client. I still have not received my files from him to this day.

Joseph did not provide us the service we were promised. My husband and I were rear ended in a car crash in Los Angeles. We retained him and that was a huge mistake. He was late with virtually everything. In fact he missed an important deadline which nearly cost us our claim. He simply made some la...me excuses and failed to take responsibility. Once he even made inappropriate comments in my presence which was creepy. We thankfully changed lawyers and it made a world of a difference. I wouldn’t hire him for a small claims case even if his service was free. Good riddance!

After I was in a very bad accident with multiple injuries that required 4 separate surgeries, I hired a local law firm on recommendation from a friend.
