Sabrina Diane Venskus

Over Venskus & Associates' nearly nine-year history, the firm’s founding partner, Sabrina Venskus, has earned a reputation as a leading public interest and environmental advocate in the Southern California area.  

Ms. Venskus' areas of practice include environmental law, land use and zoning, natural resources law, tenant rights, historic preservation, native burial rights, energy regulation, and government disclosure.

Ms. Venskus is a member of the Environmental Law Section of the California Bar Association and the Executive Committee for the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Environmental Law Section.  She is a member of the Ventura County Bar Association and serves on the board of the Ojai Valley Green Coalition.  She has served as chair for various land use and planning boards including those for the Venice Neighborhood Council, the Westchester/Playa del Rey Neighborhood Council, and the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Ms. Venskus volunteers her time advising at-risk tenants at various local Tenants' Rights Clinics, including those sponsored by the Coalition for Economic Survival and ACORN.

Media savvy, she has been quoted in local, national and international print media and interviewed on network television and radio.  Ms. Venskus has been invited to speak at the California Bar Association’s Environmental Law Conference, Continuing Legal Education Foundation, the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of Southern California. 

Ms. Venskus graduated with honors from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, (consistently recognized as our nation’s top environmental law program), earning a certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law.  She is a graduate of UCLA, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors.
