About Neama

Biography

Neama is a world-renowned lawyer and the President and co-founder of West Coast Trial Lawyers. He has over 20 years of experience handling civil and criminal cases. He regularly appears on CNN, Fox News, BBC, and other television stations to provide his expert analysis of the law.

Neama graduated from UCLA at the age of 19 and Harvard Law School at the age of 22, making him one of the youngest graduates in the 200-year history of Harvard Law School. Upon graduation, Neama was hired by the largest law firm in Los Angeles, where he met his partner, Allen Patatanyan, and he represented companies such as Disney, Marriott, and the Roman Catholic Church.

But Neama wanted to help ordinary people, not corporations, so he joined the Department of Justice and prosecuted drug and human trafficking cases along the United States-Mexico border. While working as a federal prosecutor, Neama captured and successfully prosecuted a fugitive murderer and drug kingpin who was featured on “America’s Most Wanted.” Neama was then appointed to be the Director of Enforcement of the Los Angeles City Ethics Commission and oversaw and investigated the elected officials and highest-level employees of the City of Los Angeles, including the Mayor and City Council. He held that position until founding West Coast Trial Lawyers, which has grown to 25 lawyers and 200 non-lawyer staff.

Neama has extensive trial experience leading teams of attorneys against the largest companies in the world. He has successfully tried dozens of cases to jury verdict as lead trial counsel and has argued and won before state and federal appeals courts. Over the course of his career, Neama has handled thousands of civil cases, obtaining many seven and eight-figure settlements and judgments, and has helped his clients win more than $1 billion. He has also put more than a thousand criminal defendants in prison.

Neama is licensed to practice law in California, Nevada, Arizona, and Washington state. He sits on the UCLA Political Science Board of Advisors and lives in Los Angeles.

Superb Attorney

Great free consultation

Just left my consultation with this firm and I am feeling confident that they will handle my case aggressively and diligently. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, was offered water, and was immediately taken to the conference room where I was greeted by an attorney. Must I say, the office has an in...credible view and they validate! Neama assured me that he was going to do everything in his power to get me the settlement that I deserved. West Coast has been awesome. I was riding down the 10 freeway on my motorcycle and got ejected. I was really worried about how I was going to pay for my bills. Great Team

Ok people heads up!!!! The best Law firm in town!!! If you are sitting at your place, with a knot in your stomach because you are completely lost and you don't know what to do, then STOP talking to the adjustors and calling your insurance and staying on hold on the phone for hours. Instead use that t...ime to go to work, sip good quality coffee or whatever :) and walk to the beach, meditate, along with massages, jacuzzis and sauna sessions. Let these amazing people handle the madness for you. I hired Neama and his team and it was a wise decision. My case was complicated as it was a hit an run. My brand new car was totaled and I maxed my expenses to cover car rentals, as the insurance did not cover that. The team at West Coast Trial Lawyers did their ultimate best to get the insurance write a check to pay off the lien on the car. I was able to get a new loan to buy another car. They also hired the best medical team to help me with the physical injury I suffered from. They negotiated the medical expenses and I still received a check at the time of the case settlement. The case took two years to settle and It has been a tedious, daunting and frustrating process at times but I would not have done it without the help of this great team.
