Biography

Neama is a world-renowned lawyer and the President and co-founder of West Coast Trial Lawyers. He has over 20 years of experience handling civil and criminal cases. He regularly appears on CNN, Fox News, BBC, and other television stations to provide his expert analysis of the law.

Neama graduated from UCLA at the age of 19 and Harvard Law School at the age of 22, making him one of the youngest graduates in the 200-year history of Harvard Law School. Upon graduation, Neama was hired by the largest law firm in Los Angeles, where he met his partner, Allen Patatanyan, and he represented companies such as Disney, Marriott, and the Roman Catholic Church.

But Neama wanted to help ordinary people, not corporations, so he joined the Department of Justice and prosecuted drug and human trafficking cases along the United States-Mexico border. While working as a federal prosecutor, Neama captured and successfully prosecuted a fugitive murderer and drug kingpin who was featured on “America’s Most Wanted.” Neama was then appointed to be the Director of Enforcement of the Los Angeles City Ethics Commission and oversaw and investigated the elected officials and highest-level employees of the City of Los Angeles, including the Mayor and City Council. He held that position until founding West Coast Trial Lawyers, which has grown to 25 lawyers and 200 non-lawyer staff.

Neama has extensive trial experience leading teams of attorneys against the largest companies in the world. He has successfully tried dozens of cases to jury verdict as lead trial counsel and has argued and won before state and federal appeals courts. Over the course of his career, Neama has handled thousands of civil cases, obtaining many seven and eight-figure settlements and judgments, and has helped his clients win more than $1 billion. He has also put more than a thousand criminal defendants in prison.

Neama is licensed to practice law in California, Nevada, Arizona, and Washington state. He sits on the UCLA Political Science Board of Advisors and lives in Los Angeles.

It is funny how differently two Law firms can handle a case. i was involved in a serious car accident last October and i had to retain another firm to represent my rights. My car was deemed a total loss and i suffered serious injuries. it had been 4 months since my accident and i hadn't even hear...d from my previous attorney once. nothing had been done on my property damage claim and my case was being mishandled. after four months, i was lucky to come across west coast trail lawyers' yelp page, and their amazing reviews had me thinking i should switch attorneys. i retained WCTL 4 months after the accident and my property damage was not only done in less than a month, but they also negotiate my total loss offer and raised the amount as high as possible. their diligent staff member's and case managers were constantly contacting me to make sure this frustrating process was going as smooth as possible. the attorneys were incredibly knowledgeable in every aspect of the case and were able to answer LITERALLY all my questions. in the end, they were able to maximize my share of the settlement. i cant thank WCTL enough for doing such an amazing job. INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!

WCTL left me with a very positive experience. They were extremely attentive, responded quickly to my inquiries and helped me along the way. Extremely happy !!! After calling various law firms in LA I decided to search online and one of the first firms that came up was West Coast Trial Lawyers. A kind gentlemen answered my call and answered all my questions regarding my car accident. They told me I wouldn't have to worry about anything re...garding my accident . So at this point I'm thinking, sure buddy. I was expecting a long back and forth, having dealt with a different law firm before I had little faith. Little did I know they really are the best. A must use firm!

Great experience!

Just finished working with Allen on the last stage of my case, and the results speak for themselves. I was referred to many different places that supposedly understood the world of personal injury law and promised me a great settlement, but their track records showed me otherwise.
