Hired the lawyer outside of Avvo. He works incredibly hard, is compassionate but in a supportive and objective way that is absolutely crucial. He is reasonable and understanding, and will double check when things don't sound quite right, but will never DOUBT you. He does all of this on an ethical hig...hground, and when his pen starts to flip, he is working his magic! I found him via Yelp, and who knew it was helpful for more than just food and dry cleaners? He was exactly what my family needed, and everyone around the table finished dinner satisfied.

I needed a lawyer for work on a prenuptial agreement and was incredibly lucky to have found Stephen. Beyond thankful for Stephen Chen's wisdom/advise in Family Law, compassion towards his clients needs, his communication (email, text, phone), execution and always available in a moments notice. Stephen's dedication TRULY sets him apart in Family Law. He's knowledgable, a straight shooter ...and an attorney who listened to our every concern. He was also prepared with questions and always kept our meetings on track without wasting our time (which could cost more money). Prior to Stephen, we had a nightmare of an experience with another attorney and that costed our DVRO case (including crucial evidence i.e: pics, text, videos that was dismissed with the DVRO). It was such an injustice and devastation to our family. I HIGHLY recommend Stephen Chen to be your attorney. If I ever need a California attorney or if someone needs one this is the only person I would call. I was fighting for jurisdiction in Idaho and the previous attorney I had messed up my case. She dug us in a huge hole and did absolutely nothing f...or my case. I had to submit paperwork to the judge the next day and previous attorney didn’t start on it. We asked Stephen Chen if he could take on the case and he saved my case!
