I am involved in an extremely high conflict case yet Stephen has provided me with a sense of calm and confidence. My daughter and I will have a long relationship with Stephen - at least another 15 years until my daughter is 18, at my choosing, for peace of mind. I got about 90 percent of what I wante...d for my daughter in Court. The other 10 I knew was a long shot and he was very clear in explaining why it was a long shot. Family law/Child custody is an extremely emotional, mentally exhausting and scary experience. I would not have wanted anyone else next to me in Court and believe me I interviewed several attorneys. I went in to court well prepared and felt like my daughter's best interest won in the end. We prevailed in Court. Stephen is extremely intelligent, savvy, ethical, knowledgeable, experienced and unbelievably quick in finding opportunities in written words and during testimony to benefit your case - nothing slips by him. He went up against my daughter's father's attorney who had 20 years experience and Stephen dominated in Court. Actually, he hit it out of the ballpark. He won the respect of an extremely tough but fair Judge - she even complimented him at the conclusion of our judgment hearing. Stephen is reasonably priced for the moment as he continues to build his practice. He is up to date on modern cases, strategy, rulings, changes in code and civil procedure, etc. I can not say enough great things about him. He even caught an error by the Judge and graciously corrected her. We were all surprised and impressed, including, I think, the Judge. His grace and professionalism benefit him, and me, in Court. Stephen is strategic and precise in his execution and delivery of his arguments that at times the opposing counsel and opposing party were left stunned and silent with his performance. I had to contain my excitement and joy. Anyway, I didnt meant to go so far with my response but its so important and meaningful to me.
