A feel good, salt of the earth kind of country lawyer one would hope to meet should the occasion ever arise.

Having John as my patent attorney was a very positive experience. When an issue or project arises that will necessitate the assistance of an attorney most people get a tepid feeling not unlike having to go to the dentist; you don't want to do it - but it is something that has to be done. I would s...tate that John is square in his dealings. For the lexicon challenged square is an old time description meaning the fellow is straight up and plumb honest.

Great Resource

John provided fantastic guidance throughout the entire process of filing for a utility patent. He was more than helpful in explaining the process and what was to be expected throughout the process. Anyone applying for a patent needs his experience. I am happy to say with John's expertise and granu...lar level of detail, I was successfully approved for the patent. Thank you John!

Adaptable, Conscientious, and Reliable!

Looking for a patent attorney that will become invested in your success? My experience with John Chandler has been just that. He maintained a sustained interest in my idea throughout the entire patent application process and was always available for any questions and thoughts that I had along the way.... In addition to his perseverance, he displayed flexibility and tactfulness in his abilities, and was understanding and very reasonable about all payments. I highly recommend John Chandler for your IP work.

moving through the process

I was referred to John and contacted him about my simple water saving product which I felt needed some intellectual protection. John took my product on and has successfully filed for a patent and if i might add - did so in a reasonable amount of time for a very practical fee.

Beyond 5 Stars

I applied, originally got denied then accepted in the inventor’s assistance program through California Attorney’s for the Arts. I was so thankful and saw it as a sign after all- California Attorney’s for the Arts thanked me for challenging their decision which caused them to rescreen their screening... process for they had been screening applicants wrong including me. So I had high hopes an attorney would pick up my case after all the challenging work I put into getting in that program. But after months of waiting – while the clock was ticking against me-my wait was in vain for no one picked up my case. So I sent emails here and there and eventually got a referral for John Chandler. I explained my situation and without hesitation he agreed to take my case. Several months later my non-provisional application was filed (1/11/16) and my rights were secured. I won’t state everything that John did for me but I will say that what he did was unbelievable and just don’t happen in today’s time. I am so glad I wasn’t picked up by an attorney from CAFA because I learned that good things do come to those who are waiting and that the wait was not in vain. You heard the saying “if it’s too good to be true then it’s probably not true”. However, in my rare case it was and is true. I look forward to you setting legal precedents in the field of patent and trademark laws. I also thank you for incredible legal services that went far beyond the call of duty.
