Robert W. Bergstrom

Robert Bergstrom is a really outstanding patent attorney. In addition to being a Ph.D., J.D. (Berkeley) he has formal degrees in biochemistry, computer science, and molecular and cellular biology. If there is anything he doesn't already know, he has a demonstrated willingness to pick it up. We've bee...n working with Bob for eight years, and he has done amazing work for us. Like many good patent attorneys, he knows how to structure patent applications and overall patent strategies. However, Bob also has a deep understanding of the subject matter (or he'll learn it), even in deep, multi-domain, and esoteric sub-fields (e.g. we use genetic algorithms applied to medical imaging); that's really difficult to find. We have 5 patents issued, and more in the pipeline. Bob is a great person to work with, and his boutique practice makes it really easy to work with him.
