I am a registered patent attorney with computer programming, medical, and engineering experience. I graduated with a JD from The University of Texas at Austin and later clerked for the Honorable Richard St. Clair in the Seventh Judicial District of Idaho (Idaho Falls). I counsel in many aspects of intangible assets including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, Internet domain disputes, open source issues, and best practices to comply with the law. I bike to work.

"I just wanted to say thank you very much for the good advice that you provided me concerning the attempted copyright law suit. I took your advice and waited, you were on the money sir, the Judge threw the case out and directed the Plaintiff to severe me and all others."
"John Meline is an attorney I would more than gladly recommend a client to. He is a high caliber individual with superb ethics. For patent work he is always my first referral."
