I met with attourney Margo in her office location on 04-13-2019 and I’ve asked her help to petition my spouse to come to the United States to stay or to visit temporarily. Attourney Margo informed me that it would've been impossible to bring her because where she was coming from was on the list of t...he 7 countries that are not allowed to come here under any circumstances unless I paid her law firm 50k to bring her to Belarusian and then she can get her a visa . I believed her and I didn’t ask any one else till I found out my friend married to a woman from those 7 countries and his wife entered to the United States in 2020 . Mrs Margo I just have one question ?? Why did you not telling me the truth and you were the reason I am mot with my wife till today .

לפני 5 שנים הייתי באמריקה והייתי במצב בעייתי שבו היה לי בעל אמריקאי אלים ומתעלל וכשנפרדנו גיליתי שהוא לא סיים לי את מסמכי ההגירה ושעכשיו אני בבעיה יותר גדולה. הלכתי למרגו וכל הפגישה היא התמקדה באם התקשרתי למשטרה או לא כי במידה וכן היה אפשר לעשות vawa והייתי מקבלת גרין קארד.מרגו אמרה שיש לי סיכוי ...של 10% אז וויתרתי. היום 5 שנים אחרי ושאני כבר בישראל עם חותמת שחורה אני מבינה מעורכי דין אחרים שבכלל לא היה צריך את התלונה במשטרה ושכל מה שהיה לי היה מספיק גם לאותה תקופה. היום התהליך שלי ארוך מתיש ויקר בגלל עצה לא טובה בזמן לא טוב שהייתי בו.

Attorney Josh Griffin and law clerk Iva Todorova who are part of Margo's team helped me get my E-2 visa from the US Consulate in Frankfurt, Germany. It took longer than we all had planned (due to the Covid 19 shutdown of embassies/consulates), but they kept supporting me along the way and it all work...ed out well in the end. Recommended!
