Biography
John R. Bailey, managing partner of the law firm Bailey Kennedy, has been practicing law in Nevada for over 30 years.
Bailey formed his firm in 2001 After 16 years with Nevada’s largest law firm, Lionel, Sawyer & Collins. Dennis Kennedy joined as a named partner in 2006 and the firm has continued to grow steadily since then. Bailey Kennedy was the only law firm in Nevada in the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies in the United States for both 2010 and 2011.
Bailey is one of Southern Nevada’s top civic leaders. He serves as chairman of the governing board at the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy and a director of Nevada’s Public Education Foundation. He is also a member of the Council for a Better Nevada and director at Shuffle Master, Inc. as well as a two-time former Chairman and Commissioner on the Nevada Athletic Commission.
Bailey Kennedy has been named among the “Best Places to Work” in Las Vegas and Nevada by Las Vegas Business Press, In Business Las Vegas and Nevada Business magazine. The firm focuses on litigation, appellate work, healthcare law and administrative law.
