Biography
Hai Ling Chu (Ling) was raised in Temple City, CA. She received her B.A. from the University of California, Riverside in 2006 and her J.D. from the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law in 2011. In 2012, Ling founded the law firm of HLC Legal focusing mainly in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, Contracts, and Business Law. She has been published in Nevada Lawyer Magazine and was been named by Nevada Business Magazine as a Legal Elite for 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2024 and 2025. Additonally, she is named Super Lawyer.
Ling is also an active member of the Las Vegas non-profit community. In 2014, she received the honor of being named Pro Bono Attorney of the Year from Nevada Legal Services, and she is the sitting President for the Asian American Advocacy Clinic. In her private life, Ling is an amateur coffee hobbyist, believes strongly in service to the client, and strives to offer practical legal solutions to her clients.
