Biography
Jared M. Moser, Esq., practices in the areas of commercial litigation and contract disputes, employer defense, and landlord/tenant disputes, representing both individuals and businesses, large and small, in southern and northern Nevada.
Mr. Moser received his B.S.B.A. with a double major in marketing and business management from Hawai'i Pacific University. He returned to Nevada to obtain his Juris Doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada – Las Vegas, during which time he represented family law clients as a Certified Student Attorney, was recognized with the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in International Human Rights, and was also awarded as a member of the Society of Advocates for Second Best Brief in the Jerome Prince Evidence Law Moot Court Competition.
Before joining Marquis Aurbach, Mr. Moser gained invaluable experience as an extern to the Honorable James T. Russell in the First Judicial District Court of Nevada, as a law clerk to the Honorable Nancy L. Allf in the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada, and as a law clerk for the Honorable Johnnie B. Rawlinson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has authored numerous articles addressing a variety of legal issues topics for the American Inns of Court publication, The Bencher, and in the Infinity Business Magazine, and has appeared as a guest on the Su Negocio En Nevada radio show. He has also served on the Board of Directors for a local non-profit organization that provides aftercare for women who are former victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
Mr. Moser is a member of the Howard D. McKibben Chapter of the American Inns of Court and is an alumni member and former officer of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity International.
During his time out of the office, Mr. Moser enjoys time with his wife, Tara, and their two sons. When he and his family are not outdoors, Mr. Moser enjoys watching both college and professional football and basketball.

The worst practice setup in Las Vegas

Replied last June 07, 2024Hello, sir. I'm sorry you were displeased with what you were told on the telephone. I don't have any record of anyone named Robert calling me for a consultation, so perhaps you're mistaken. Consultation fees vary depending on the complexity of the issues and whether document review is required. Unfortunately, many people call looking for free legal advice, which is offered through a number of income-qualifying resources. We, however, cannot, in good faith, take time away from the cases of our paying clients to provide free advice. Often, a prospective client believes the matter is simple and may only require a few minutes, but more often than not, at least 30-60 minutes is needed to gather information and address a client's concerns.

Replied last August 03, 2021Mr. Clark, I'm very sorry you did not appreciate the time I spent evaluating your case, including the numerous documents you provided, and engaging in several email exchanges and telephone calls to discuss your options. That was certainly not justification for submitting a fraudulent credit card dispute for the retainer deposit for which we had your written authorization. Unfortunately, I cannot re-write the facts or change the law. My goal is always to give my clients an honest assessment of your options, the costs of each, the pros and cons of each alternative, and a rough estimate of the probability of success for each. Sometimes, the facts and the law are not in a client's favor, as was the case for you, so I provided you a recommendation to maximize your net recovery without incurring significant attorney's fees in the process of resolving your dispute. I believe you would have been even more upset if you had spent tens of thousands of dollars on legal representation only to end up in a worse place than you found yourself after spending only $1,000 - with a clear understanding of your rights and money coming back to you.
