Carlia S. Waite

I originally hired Carlia through Right Lawyers. I trusted and believed in her she left two firms in the time being of my case to which I followed her since she knew my case. She also made it sound that if I stayed at the firms I would be left with inadequate and inexperienced lawyers In the end she... promised to finish my paperwork and never did. I bugged her for months and she just lied and put me off. She never did finish it. I wouldn't trust her with something as simple as my will. I can only imagine she has carried to Standish Law firm the same untrustworthy traits. All I wanted was my paperwork done as promised.

Carlia changed my family's life forever... for the good, actually for the GREAT! I don't think she realizes to this day just how much she did for my 2 kids and I. I went through a horrible, horrible divorce and she was so compassionate when she heard our story. She was always present and did everythi...ng very professionally and compassionate. Her fees were beyond reasonable and she took all the right legal steps that we needed. She made me feel confident even when I didn't think I could be. She was more than an attorney, she became a friend. I would recommend her for any family law case. She has her own children, so she has empathy, grace and kindness. PROS: Knowledgeable and thorough. Good advice. CONS: 1. Incorrect billing - I had to call several times before they corrected bill. 2. Overcharged quite a bit for phone and email communications. 3. Unprepared for divorce hearing - it seems as if my case wasn't a priority for her. 4. Lack of... fight - she didn't speak up in court room. 5. Too expensive for the service she provides at $350 an hour.
