When I came to Julie in August of 2021 I was a scared mother of 2 small ones, my (now ex) husband had left me and my two small children in small desolate town in Southern Nevada with no means to survive, if you aren't a miner, driller or their wife of one, you have no future in this area. I was be...yond horrified, I needed to move to another place to simply survive. I had family in Northern California but my kids dad was absolutely against this and threatened to press kidnapping charges if I left. In the time Mrs. Raye worked with me to gain custody and the right to relocate she helped me find a since of self worth and courage to keep fighting for my kids and to continue to do the right thing for them no matter how hard. Without her I am not sure how my life would have turned out nor do I want to think about the possibilities. I do know that I thank her more than anyone can ever comprehend for my second chance at life with my kids.

If you hire her it is not about you or the mental health of your children, it is about her dragging it out in order to collect more lawyer fees from you. She will ignore the other side prior to court in order to make sure it does go to court $$$$. Her unwillingness to listen cost majority child cus...tody the father was willing to offer. Where to start? Julie has helped me keep my family together and ultimately changed the outcome of my circumstances. I was being railroaded in court against my children's father and his lawyer for a year until Julie stepped in. Her first and ONLY court appearance for my family court case changed the t...une. I went from almost losing custody of my second child and fighting to regain custody of my first, to sharing joint legal and physical custody WITH the majority of the week for both that very day. She fought for me to have 4 days and 4 nights and won! The crazy part about it is she had only been retained on my case not even a week by the time the court date that was originally a month away, ended up being expedited to 2 DAYS AWAY! With Julie being a mother, she made me feel comfortable and related to my emotions. She told my story and told it well. Julie didn't miss a step and took the burden of court and all of the proceedings off of my shoulders. Just like many of us, I had no idea what was being spoken about in court nor did I understand how or when to speak to the judge and opposition. Julie has the experience and wit needed to take on the courts in a way I've yet to see with any lawyer I've ever dealt with or seen in action. I wish I could tell you that was the end of my story and turmoil. Well, it isn't. I ended up in some trouble not even a month later and Julie took over my criminal court case as well. I am on probation and was facing revocation and prison time. Not only did Julie get me back home and reinstated. She made sure that I still had custody of my children when I was finally released from jail. Julie didn't give up on me or judge me. She stepped up without question, because she believed in me and my family. Having a woman fight for a woman as hard as Julie does hasn't stopped amazing me. Women should build each other up and support one another and that is exactly what she has done for me. Because of Julie I have been able to regain my confidence and rebuild my life in a way I couldn't have done without her. No amount of words could explain my true gratification for her and the work she has and is going to continue to do. My first encounter with Julie was when she had my case as a public defender. The case was sketchy and weak and she wanted to fight it. Most public defenders won't do that. They have huge caseloads so they usually make deals. Not Julie tho. So she fought it until we came to an agreement with the D.A. ... Needless to say a few yrs later when I was in trouble again I looked for her as an att. She had her own practice and once again she faught for me. I had problems staying out of trouble for yrs to come so I was needing a lawyer a lot. She has always been there to help and represent me, even when I couldn't afford it. She believed in me when others wouldn't and said she would be there to fight for me and my family. Unfortunately I ended up going to prison for the things I had done. Thankfully it gave me a different outlook on life and helped me to change. Days before my release after doing 4yrs I was told I had a new case that didn't get filed until a year after I went to prison and I was facing a new prison sentence. I contacted Julie and once again she worked her magic and faught for me and my family. She was willing to go all the way with this case if need be and so was I. Thankfully she was able to get the case dismissed and I was able to go home and start my life over. If it wasn't for Julie I would've spent many years behind bars and not have been able to change my life like I have. She got me home to my family and still calls to check on me to make sure all is well. She doesn't judge her clients for what they've done. She puts her all into helping them and fighting for them. I am eternally grateful to her for getting me my life back.
