Donn Prokopius

I had been hesitant to file for divorce for a very long time but Donn made the process a lot easier and faster than what I expected. I thought that my divorce and custody battle would take a long time, but Donn's legal expertise, guidance, and efficient communication, he was able to obtain the result...s I expected. Donn Prokopius represented us in our custody case for our oldest daughter. He came highly recommended from a close friend of mine that had been in a custody suit for over a year. She explained to me that as difficult and time consuming the process was that Donn was professional and worked hard on h...er case. She was absolutely correct. I have to say I called several attorney's before I finally called Donn. I spoke with supposedly one of the top custody attorney's in town ( I was told) that came with a high price. I did not like the way she spoke about my case as far as what she was willing to do. I wanted the court to decide on facts where my daughter would be best placed, I believe it was with me. I did not want someone who would lack integrity, professionalism and common decency. I didn't want my daughter in the future when she was older to go back and see that I had said and done things that was dishonoring to her father and in turn cause her hurt. I wanted to ensure that my daughter would appreciate that her father was treated with respect. I will be forever grateful to Donn on how he handled our case. He was always up front on the possibilities of different scenario's. He always returned my calls and he always kept me up to date on our progress. His fee was reasonable and fair. I can't say enough positive things about his team. It would still do no justice to how amazing, quick, professional his team is. I have worked in real estate for a good of 10 years in the past and I had learned quickly never to refer anyone to an attorney. That has changed. I have refereed friends to Donn and no doubt if any of my family members need counsel it would be Donn if I have any say in it. This process is daunting for sure. I don't think there is anything more difficult than a custody dispute. At least in my life I have not experienced anything more trying. Donn Prokopius is a fantastic Attorney who had my best interest at heart. I have been through two other lawyers who I trusted to represent me and fell miserably short. Thousads of dollars later, I learned that it was sort of a crap shoot to hire an attorney that would do a good job. I wish that I had... found Mr. Donn Prokopius from the beginning. My experience has been nothing but brilliant. I have never had to find a lawyer before, so I didn't how to go about it. That being said, after going through two other lawyers, I finally found my trophy attorney, Mr. Donn Prokopius. This was my experience with his law firm and specifically with him... I found him through the internet and I had called his office to inquire upon his services. My phone call was very pleasant and polite. I had a phone appointment set up for a call back. Donn Prokopius called me back spending at least an hour on the phone with me getting to know me and the type of case I had; which was a divorce case. I was happy to hear that he accepted me as his client and on short notice leaving me feeling confident I had made the right choice. He charged me a flat fee to represent me which caused me to fell even more confident in his abilities. In contrast, the other two lawyers kept charging me with every single interaction I had as well as court appearances which they kept moving for continuances and case management hearings NOT TRIAL! THUS, More billing of $3000.00 or more each time. Donn Prokopius is a no nonsense Attorney who is a champion in getting the job done. I cant tell you how much passion, enthusiasm, aggressiveness, and ingenuity he exhibited. He, by no means, was easy prey but on the contrary a hard target, a line in the sand a protector of his clients nor could he be intimidated in any way shape of form. In our deliberations, Mr. Prokopius commanded the room with a very compelling presence using his persuasive verbal talents and influential body language. Mr. Prokopius is a winner hands down and he is very good at it. There isn't a recommendation high enough that could even begin to touch on, "My Attorney's" skills. If you need an exceptional fighter I would definitely recommend Donn Prokopius to be your PIT BULL!! Donn Prokopius reflects enormous credit on himself, his practice, and the legal system. I retained Donn for my divorce/custody case. I interviewed multiple attorneys before I decided that Donn was the best for me. During the free consultation I observed a calm, yet very confident attorney. Like all the other attorneys, he explained my options and discussed his willingness to take the ...case to trial. He was straight to the point and did not provide "fluff". I was unable to pay the full retainer and was placed on a fair payment plan. Without his acceptance of my plan, I would have had to go to another firm. The opposition had many demands of me financially and Donn developed a "package" plan to present to her attorney to get her off of my retirement . From the beginning, I informed Donn that I was willing to negotiate with her to keep 100% of my retirement and that she keep 100% of her retirement. (If you don't know...Nevada is a community property state.) After multiple attorney meetings, Donn proctored the best plan for me and I didn't have to go to trial. I got everything I wanted (well...just about...the support law is what it is) and Donn saved me time and money by not having to go to trial. I highly recommend him as I have to several friends in Las Vegas.
