Donn Prokopius

I paid a $3,500 “flat fee” to have Donn W. Prokopius enforce a judgement for my fiancé in a Las Vegas family law/divorce matter and instead of issuing a writ, he took her back to court and she received nothing when she should have received $115,000.00. He later tried to have her the very last bit o...f support money she was entitled to routed to him without her consent. When she called him out on it, he resigned and she never even received that. Communication was very poor—he rarely called, and she was often left in the dark. After the representation ended and she obtained her file, she found proposed orders for attorney fees despite the engagement being presented as a “flat-fee” arrangement. She also did not receive regular or let alone any itemized invoices showing dates, work performed, and how payments were applied for the entire 2 year duration that he worked for her. Please look for other options when looking for representation in your family law matter. We would like for him to make this right but unfortunately it may need to go to court.

Definitely a professional and trained lawyer. The achievement finally came after 8 years of uncertainty. It has been accentuated on paper the safety of my children. Donn was negligent and totally disengaged and unprepared for my case. He did not even bring paperwork & files to refer to in Court - and had to ask me for info as he fumbled with his tech notepad. His asst. Alex lost my files, lied to me about having filed Papers with court on time and repeategly was... inept. Very unprofessional staff and dirty office. Complete failure.

Donn and his team assisted my husband and I with a termination of parental rights case and step parent adoption. Everyone in the office is very kind and considerate. Starting with day one he was very thorough, explaining everything so there was no confusion. He has always made us feel confident in ou...r case and what the end results would be. Donn Prokopius represented us in our custody case for our oldest daughter. He came highly recommended from a close friend of mine that had been in a custody suit for over a year. I did not like the way she spoke about my case as far as what she was willing to do. I wanted the court to decide on facts where my daughter would be best placed, I believe it was with me. I did not want someone who would lack integrity, professionalism and common decency. I didn't want my daughter in the future when she was older to go back and see that I had said and done things that was dishonoring to her father and in turn cause her hurt. I wanted to ensure that my daughter would appreciate that her father was treated with respect. I will be forever grateful to Donn on how he handled our case. He was always up front on the possibilities of different scenario's. He always returned my calls and he always kept me up to date on our progress. His fee was reasonable and fair. I can't say enough positive things about his team. It would still do no justice to how amazing, quick, professional his team is. I have worked in real estate for a good of 10 years in the past and I had learned quickly never to refer anyone to an attorney. That has changed. I have refereed friends to Donn and no doubt if any of my family members need counsel it would be Donn if I have any say in it. This process is daunting for sure. I don't think there is anything more difficult than a custody dispute. At least in my life I have not experienced anything more trying.
