Donn Prokopius

I paid a $3,500 “flat fee” to have Donn W. Prokopius enforce a judgement for my fiancé in a Las Vegas family law/divorce matter and instead of issuing a writ, he took her back to court and she received nothing when she should have received $115,000.00. He later tried to have her the very last bit o...f support money she was entitled to routed to him without her consent. When she called him out on it, he resigned and she never even received that. Communication was very poor—he rarely called, and she was often left in the dark. After the representation ended and she obtained her file, she found proposed orders for attorney fees despite the engagement being presented as a “flat-fee” arrangement. She also did not receive regular or let alone any itemized invoices showing dates, work performed, and how payments were applied for the entire 2 year duration that he worked for her. Please look for other options when looking for representation in your family law matter. We would like for him to make this right but unfortunately it may need to go to court.

I hired Donn W. Prokopius / Pro Law Group for a family law/divorce matter. My primary concern was communication and billing transparency. During the representation, I did not receive regular itemized invoices showing dates, work performed, or how payments were applied. After the representation ended,... I requested my complete client file and reviewed the materials I received. I located only limited billing documentation and did not see clear proof of when any invoice(s) were sent to me. I also had concerns about certain proposed orders/filings that appeared to prioritize payment of attorney’s fees, and I did not feel adequately informed about those issues at the time they were happening. I requested a full accounting and clarification so we could resolve the matter professionally. To date, I have not received the accounting I requested. Based on my experience, I recommend that anyone considering this firm get the fee terms in writing, confirm how billing will be communicated, and require regular itemized statements.

I went in for a consultation but definitely will go back and hire Donn. He’s knowledge is out of this world! he listened to everything I had to say, and trust me, I had way to much to say and so many questions lol. He’s Not like you're typical money hungry attorneys that give you a free 5 min consu...ltation don’t answer your questions, don’t care about you, and only see you as as a dollar sign then they pressure you to hire them. I wanted to interview a couple more attorneys before making my decision but I definitely came back. Special thanks to Jessica she’s amazing! she has a great personality and you can hear even over the phone how much she loves her job. She answered a few questions with out giving me legal advice. Definitely the best first impression counts! And she’s by far exceptional. She went far and beyond to help me.She called me too come in sooner than my original scheduled appointment. Since she had a cancellation not something I expected or ask for but that was just amazing customer service. When I entered the office she immediately greeted me with a beautiful smile and I find that very important it shows they appreciate your business. After speaking to Donn and Jessica I have made up my mind and definitely hired him. Donn’s experience is exactly what I was looking for! I consider my self lucky for finding Donn to be my attorney. Thank you Donn and Jessica you guys rock!!

Donn and his staff were amazing. The case that I had was not typical and against the state, CPS and DFS. I feared that with how I was being out right fictitiously steam rolled by the system there would be no way I would ever see my child again. Donn got it done! I am reunited with my little one and s...he is safe happy and glad to be home! Him and his staff talk to you and let you know what is going on; which is unlike any other attorney. I have also recommended him to friends and they are just as happy!
