I contacted Mary and Phil Brown back in November 2021. I was being charged with a DUI of Drugs. This was my first time receiving a DUI so I didn't know what really to expect. I emailed them several times over the months leading up to my case, asking questions about the whole process. They were quite ...responsive. They told me that with a DUI in Nevada, there is a DMV Court hearing but also a Criminal Case. In September of this year, 1 year after my arrest, they won me the DMV case, meaning that I could legally drive again. This was a huge win for me. I had my court date today for the criminal trial. In October 2021, a few weeks after my initial arrest, I completed an impatient recovery program (drug rehab). I told Mr. Brown about this, and he was delighted to hear, as not many first time DUI offenders go to rehab. I emailed their office proof of me completing the rehab. Mr. Brown then informed me that he had struck a plea bargain with the DA, where my DUI charge was going to be reduced to a reckless driving charge because I had done rehab. I was delighted to hear this news. So today, I went to court, met Mr. Brown, we walked in the court, I pleaded nolo contendre to Reckless Driving, and that was that. No DUI courses, no additional jailtime, no victim impact panel or hefty fines, no record of DUI whatsoever. Mr. Brown leveraged the fact that I graduated a drug rehab and used this information to get me to plead to a lesser charge. Now I am in a much better situation because of that. As of October 24, 2022, I am over a year sober, and with no DUI charge, I have my whole life ahead of me. Thank you, Mr. Brown

Attorney Brown and his office were more than I had hoped for. I was convinced that the outcome to my case was all but determined already. I was hoping a good attorney would be able to communicate the circumstances to help with the sentencing. It gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision on how to proceed. He came back with a deal that was beyond my best hope after the postponed initial court date, and successfully renegotiated a counter offer, which was accepted. He was able to get the case, a Class B Felony, dismissed. There is no doubt in my mind, that my life would be significantly altered by this if Attorney Brown had not successfully (and in my mind miraculously) defended me against the charges I was facing. His professional network of contacts and years of experience and familiarity with the legal system of Clark County are an immeasurable asset in any criminal defense case. His integrity; the professionalism of his office, and the personal touch and communication from all, made a difficult ordeal an easier process to undergo. Each case has its own set of circumstances and likely outcomes, but as far as my case went. I cannot say enough about how grateful I am that I chose Attorney Brown to represent and defend me. He appeared on my behalf in court twice and all meetings were over the phone as this was happening during the 3rd wave of the pandemic. I didn’t have to be anywhere or go anywhere throughout the entire process. That’s a game changer for anyone who doesn’t or can’t drive. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. After contacting Mr. Brown and discussing taking care of a misdemeanor charge, I was more than comfortable & confident he could handle it.
