She rocked it!

A combination of my poor decisions had created a very undesirable situation in Sin City that I needed legal expertise to solve quickly. I was contending with some serious charges. Hardly the key to the city. I knew of no one that had gone through this and resorted to an internet search for Las Vegas... Attorneys and the prevailing laws. I relied on web feedback and reviews for my decision making process. I came across quite a few references to LVLG and went to their site. I began to see a trend of successes with real people facing serious odds like myself. It was my best choice to make that call. David was my first contact and he assured me that they would do everything in their power to help me. As promised a lawyer from the firm called shortly thereafter, went over things, and I we began to prepare for battle. I provided the documents they needed from me and they acquired a court date immediately. To my surprise it was all handled in one day. I arrived in the morning and met with David in the conference room. He conducted a brief pre-game meeting to bring me up to speed and inform me of any changes. Amber, my attorney, joined us later and proceeded to formulate a game plan for the 1:30pm arraignment. She explained in detail what I was potentially facing and proposed several scenarios with possible outcomes with the charges. Her personable nature and candor were appreciated. Once there, I sat there in the courtroom, waiting very little time as she went to work. Next thing I knew, all that was left was for me to do was to stand in front of the judge and agree to the negotiated terms. After paying the fine and signing the paperwork, I was back on the road by 3pm and only a few Benjamins less in the wallet! Thanks David, Amber, and Thank You LVLG! BR

Great

My experience with LVDG left me feeling great. From the beginning, I felt like my relatively minor case was treated as if it were a very serious one. While hanging out at my house, I heard a strange knock at my door. The police informed me that I had been a very serious accident and that they kne...w it was me. I told them that I didn’t know what they were talking about. They told me a tow-truck was on its way to impound my car and I only needed to confess to take care of everything quickly. I continued to tell them that I didn’t know what they were talking about. This took about 3 hours and left me very shaken up. About 2 weeks later, I got a notice in the mail from LVMPD that I was the suspect in a hit and run investigation. This frightened me. How could the police accuse me of this? Are my rights being violated? What’s going on? I knew this was the time to consult a lawyer. I researched the Law Firm that I noticed represented police in previous cases, and that had former police officers on its staff. I knew that this sort of rapport with police would expedite my case, as they would be able to relate to the detective(s) investigating me on mutually understandable terms. Upon meeting with the first of three individuals involved on my case, David Kohlmeier, Case Manager immediately made me feel the full implications of my case. He let me know the potential progress and possible punishments of my case, the benefits of retaining the law firm to protect me, and the cost structure for all of it. Nothing was unclear. He made me feel confident that he knew what he was talking about. The next person I met with was In-House Private Investigator - William Simpson who personally investigated on my behalf and spoke to the detective on my behalf to figure out an appropriate time for me to go speak with him, as well as probing for information to give us a clearer understanding of what exactly I was being accused of. The next individual I came into contact with was my attorney, Amber Furhiman,Esq. She and I went down to the detective’s office to discuss my case, and her presence made me feel completely at ease with this interaction. She arrived exactly on time and she did her job well in making sure the interview was by the letter. I went from almost having a criminal record, thousands of dollars worth of tickets, traffic school, possible suspension of my license, increase of my insurance premiums, and jail time to NOTHING! The state completely dropped its case with no tickets or punishments issued whatsoever! Whew! Throughout the experience, all my phone calls were returned with expedience, and everything was explained thoroughly. The diverse backgrounds of the people involved on my case provided a plan that left me feeling like my rights were protected in the way that they should be. I felt like all I had to do was retain them as my legal counsel and let them do the rest. I was supposed to get a huge hit in more ways than one, but LVDG protected me. Thanks LVDG!
