Alisha Maestas has been practicing law for over 15 years and has exclusive experience as a former top prosecutor. Before becoming a criminal defense lawyer, Alisha Maestas was a Bernalillo County Deputy District Attorney and was responsible for all types of criminal offenses. Much of her time was spent prosecuting major crimes where she handled murder cases and violent crimes and domestic violence cases as well as complex drug trafficking cases. She was also a supervising attorney at the District Attorney's Office. Ms. Maestas has argued dozens of motions to dismiss and has extensive trial experience. Ms. Maestas provides effective and aggressive representation.

Updating previous negative review I gave a few years ago
Alisha was an immense help in working with my case. I left a negative review several years ago when I was very frustrated with my case in general, not with her, per se. If I ever needed a lawyer, which I better not! Haha, I wouldn’t think twice about hiring her.

WORST lawyer I’ve ever crossed paths with
She was unprofessional, had an attitude the whole time while working with her and liked to repeat herself in different ways like as if you didn’t understand her the first time. She also will hang up on you when she gets upset. Worst representation ever!
