David Malcom Shapiro

Mr. Shapiro is 66 years old. He is licensed to practice in Calfornia, Arizona, and the Federal Courts. He is a former prosecutor.   He has a wealth of real world experience.  In his early years he was a bronc rider and Wild West Show performer in Europe.  He is a classically trained actor (National Shakespeare Conservatory, N.Y.). His credits include extensive theatre and television and film. His background supported his role as a top trial advocate on SWU's nationally recognized Trial Advocacy Honors Team in 2000--2001.

His firm, Shapiro Defense, PLLC, defends life, liberty, and property involving the most serious of criminal offenses including capital murder, homicide and other violent crimesincluding sex crimes, drug and drug-related crimes.  His website is .  Mr. Shapiro has represented people of all races, ethnicities, religious beliefs and political points of view.  He does not, however, represent those accused of crimes involving the hatred of any person or group based upon race, ethnicity, gender preference, or political perspective. 

Mr. Shapiro was raised in Santa Monica, Ca. and is married with two dogs, brother and sister Boarder Collie/ Catahoula   He is an expert horseman and an avid golfer.  He has been a volunteer Election Observor in El Salvador in 1994 and a volunteer in the First AME (FAME) Church's Legal Assistance program.  He has traveled extensively in Central and South America and has lived in Magney Le Hongre, France, Vilnius, Lithuania, and New York, N.Y.
