I had an "incident" take place that was really unfortunate in the sense that the police decided to escalate a non-problematic situation into a problematic situation that put my career and livelihood into question. Due to the high importance of correcting this issue, a family member of mine and myself... independently consulted with 20+ attorneys throughout Arizona that had experience in criminal cases. A couple weeks later when we reconvened to make a decision on an attorney to represent me, my family member and I both had Jacob at the top of our list. When deciding on an attorney, there were two specific attributes that I was looking for. Throughout the entire process, Jacob instilled confidence within me that we'd ultimately achieve the best outcome, but always kept it straightforward with me to avoid leading me on, giving me false hope, or making promises that he couldn't keep. To me, that's a direct indication of Mr. Smets's excellent character. Jacob was always easy to contact whenever I needed to reach him, responded extremely quickly to emails, and even gave me his personal contact information to get a hold of him when he went out of town for a weekend which I really respected. In the end, Mr. Jacob Smets truly saved my career and turned a situation that was wrongfully escalated into charges/a criminal case into a successful dismissal of the case. I called Glazer after not receiving a call back from another firm (tried twice). Jake picked up the phone and gave me his immediate attention.
