Do not trust her.

I hate to write this review but it's a long time coming. I hired Ms. Mulembo to represent me in a divorce. She was incompetent and charged me four times what my ex-wife's lawyer charged. She was unprepared for every hearing, extremely disorganized, arrogant and incompetent. Unless you take pride in b...urning dollar bills, stay away! She delayed my case and withdrew at the last minute when she couldn't do the job she had been paid to do. Ms. Mulembo, please stop victimizing the public you have been trusted to serve.

The statements in this review do not accurately reflect the course of the representation. Our firm devoted substantial time and attention to this matter and pursued the legal strategy requested by the client. Through that advocacy, the client obtained the property outcomes sought and retained control over the duration of spousal maintenance—an outcome that is not typical in cases of this nature. Legal fees in litigation are driven by the amount of work required to pursue the outcomes a client asks counsel to achieve. In this matter, the fees reflected the substantial time necessary to manage the case and address repeated issues that made productive communication increasingly difficult while pursuing the objectives the client requested. When communication between attorney and client deteriorates to the point that effective representation is no longer possible, professional rules and court procedures require withdrawal. That step was taken in accordance with those obligations and with court approval, and it did not prejudice the client’s case. For transparency, substantially similar comments about this matter have been posted across multiple platforms. We stand by the quality of our work and our professional responsibilities. Because of our duty of client confidentiality, we will not address further allegations or engage in additional public discussion of this matter.
