I had a federal case for five kilos of fentanyl over the national border of Mexico. I was the driver in the car was in my name. I have three prior felonies at the state level. Mr Higgins saved my life and was a godsend in court. He knew his stuff he presented a great case for me and he won! I was man...dated 10 years and I walked away with five years probation. He has a great demeanor, very easy to talk to easy to get along with. He always made me feel comfortable. His staff was phenomenal. Mr. Higgins REFUSED for over a year to file the motion to dismissed that I told him to file. He failed to communicate important information to me, such as changes in court dates, causing me to travel from Dallas Texas to Tucson Arizona for a court date that had been moved back. He and his office as...sistant consistanly failed to respond to emails and phone calls, irreparably harming me and my case. I've dealt with at least a dozen lawyers, from business lawyers, to civil lawyers, to criminal lawyers, and have NEVER in my life dealt with a lawyer as unprofessional and dishonest as Mr. Thomas E. Higgins.

I heard Mr. Higgins was an effective attorney from a facebook post when I was searching for a lawyer over a misedemanor I was falsely charged with by a vengeful cop on a power trip. Not only was Mr. Higgins not effective, he actually harmed me / my case by caving badly to the whims of the judge a...nd never answering phone calls when I sought out communication and updates. I'd give zero stars if I could.
